We remember a study out of Juan Carlos Rey University in Spain that showed for every green job created in Spain (mostly associated with solar), 2.2 jobs in other sectors was destroyed. Believe that study was circa 2008.
We worry about the impact that mass hysteria-driven environmental policy will have on food and energy cost and scarcity for the 6.5 billion living below the standards of everyone reading this. They pay the highest share of their labor for food and energy, so all this acts as a regressive tax.
Sri Lanka and Pakistan were examples we used in a recent post subtitled "First Do No Harm".
Great work.
