I can’t find any major airline saying they will be out of business in 2050. Here’s Ryanair’s pathway to net zero.

https://corporate.ryanair.com/sustainability/pathway-to-net-zero/

Mind you, 24% of carbon reduction measures are projected to come from offsetting and other economic measures. Presumably that’s customers planting trees in the Amazon.

It’s the same with the energy companies. None of them are owning the 50% reduction in per capita energy consumption. Here’s National Grid

https://www.nationalgrid.com/stories/journey-to-net-zero/national-grids-net-zero-commitment

Of course they’re only interested in their own direct emissions. What goes down their pipes and wires is not their responsibility.

“That’s why I have announced a new target to reduce our own direct greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050”

They even do a helpful debunking of climate change myths

https://www.nationalgrid.com/stories/journey-to-net-zero-stories/6-myths-about-climate-change-busted

Business leaders are just as blinkered as politicians.

This is a blueprint for:

Poverty. Civil War. Gangster dominant society. At best.

It means international war, coupled with extreme stupidity of exactly the kind we see right now, plunging the world into the sudden denouement of massive nuclear war. That one-day war will nearly sterilize the "western " world, leaving a few naval groups and nuclear submarines hunting each other across the globe.

Roughly ⅓-½ maybeas high as ⅔ of all energy demand will disappear overnight. The next day the world will continue on in some form probably focused in Asia and the global south. The USA Canada and Europe will be gone with its population and wildlife.

https://thebulletin.org/2024/01/press-release-doomsday-clock-remains-at-90-seconds-to-midnight/

When thinking about the Doomsday Clock think of Ukraine and how it has been used to grind down the conventional warmaking capacity of the Russian Federation which has the largest arsenal of nuclear weapons on earth. And Russia is the only nation prepared to weather a nuclear war, albeit with roughly 50% population loss.

This is what I mean by extreme stupidity. The west is electing leaders who literally belong in a dementia home. (viz. Biden, Trump) and the younger ones are lapdogs to idiocy.

Paul Homewood has posted an article in the same vein on TCW, “The real purpose of Net Zero: impoverishment, enslavement and depopulation”: https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/the-real-purpose-of-net-zero-impoverishment-enslavement-and-depopulation/.

I was telling my kids way back in 2005-6 when they were ushering in net zero that what they wanted was us sitting in the dark shivering, looks like I was right.

Also notable that the comparable countries for halved per capita energy consumption are all a lot warmer year round than Northern Europe

I saw you had this piece published by GWPF which is an excellent way of widening the readership. Even Guardian journalists tend to look there to see if there is anything they think they can criticise. Mostly followed by silence of course. But they know. Perhaps their deepest darkest fear.

I can tell by Bill Gates, Al Gore, John Kerry, Mark Zuckerberg, Leonardo Dicaprio and Jeff Bezos' yacht and private jet usage, that they're extremely concerned about "Net Zero."

Another great summary David - you are consistently amongst my top 10 of informed and competent bloggers and I regularly share your articles on media sites to spread both the info and your site

Net zero by 2050 has been costed by two recent GWPF reports, as over £3Tn, or £100k per UK household

Net zero is a globalist solution to a climate crisis problem that does not exist, in reality, it’s a transfer of wealth, from the masses to the elites, nothing more

Just as London Mayor Khan falsely states that by paying him £12.50 a day, you can clean the air, the net zero scam is a fantastic way to siphon hard earned money from the proles, to the greenlighting globalist billionaires, through both fear and a false hope they can save a ‘burning planet’ from ‘global incineration’!

It is incumbent on all we empirical science led climate realists (not modellers) to keep the world informed of the facts, the truth

We'll be shivering in our homes, because of "global burning"?
