While the entitled, deluded elite bicker about climate denial, our old people die in their frozen homes unable to pay these fools or have their muted messages heard.

Does Dale have a taxpayer / billpayer funded team trawling comments for anything and everything he might find offensive?

Anyway Forest Green Rovers, ‘the first football club in the world to be certified carbon neutral under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) initiative Climate Neutral Now’ lost to Carlisle United 4-2 last night.

Oh those ill done by soy boys, my heart bleeds.

I wonder if Vince has connections to the Fabians?

Spartacus's avatar

Might you expand upon the relevance of said Fabians, kind sir? Their views, acts, and perhaps if they commit relatio with tw@'s or grift?

Unfortunately further confirmation that the blob will fight like rats in a sack to preserve their privilege. This will undoubtedly include lawfare because free speech is fine unless you don’t agree with me

Good luck… your articles shine a light on the murky world of subsidies, policy costs etc. thanks

Wow the blob really are getting worried. Keep up the invaluable work David.

Thank you David. Going back to before the decimalisation of our currency, the legal profession had a nickname for the solicitor's letter - the "five bob frightener". Keep it up.

Vicki, Mad Old Bat.'s avatar

Thank you for using the word "solicitor". We do not have lawyers.

Mr Vince’s actions speak/roar for themselves around his attitudes to free speech. At some subconscious level he understands the tension between his social stance and getting rich from bill payers, many of whom are also taxpayers. In other words you hit a nerve.

Being gaslit by people in the green establishment seems to be the required modus operandi but that doesn’t mean all of us are stupid. Keep up the good work with this fascinating Substack.

At the end of the day economics “will out” …

I also dabble in Liam Halligan’s Substack. It would be great if the two of you did a podcast.

This should (in my opinion but it’s your call 😄) cover, and be a guide to, the importance of energy costs in the economy / the complexity of charges (made simple) / and the realistic alternatives to our current net zero policies.

Funnily enough, I met Liam last night. Watch this space.

Well done David, whilst your articles are fact and data based, as you say Dale is a propagandist.

Its important that knowledgeable people like you are allowed to continue to put the alternative view

Great work David. Although a tedious waste of your time, it is - as you note - another example of how the law can be 'weaponised' by those who can afford it.

As lawyers know all too well 'the process is the punishment.'

Tony Prynne's avatar

Well done, David. Antics like this from Vince only confirm that you are on the right side of history.

Excellent reply to this entitled green zealot.

Using lawyers to threaten honest, law abiding people with dubious 'facts' about their supposed infringements of a client's lawful rights is highly unethical. It can be quite alarming for your average person to receive such an official (and officious) threatening letter from an expensive looking firm of lawyers. I know. I've been on the receiving end of such tactics re. a boundary dispute, and I sought advice from a lawyer friend on how to draft an appropriate response, but they still didn't give up with the heavy handed tactics. So in the end I drafted a very detailed letter pointing out the very pertinent facts (as opposed to their client's assertions) and challenged them to proceed with litigation based on the facts presented. I heard nothing further from them after that. Just bullies.

So, if you're reading this DV, you are a factually challenged, scientifically illiterate, knee-jerk authoritarian eco-fascist for claiming that 'climate deniers' should be jailed.

Excellent exposition, though I warrant softly unkind to the kindness oft shown to proper biological tw@'s? My own excursion (admittedly cross platform, i.e. medium) into respondio cis twas in tw@io mori.

For the writer of said 5 Bob frightener bore the organ of great repute upon her holistic person in the form usually found midst and betwixt the the means she used when bestride a friendly face. Thus my care to delineate with care that not all tw@ references should be considered insulting to clients, and, most importantly, that said "grifting", whether the result should be payment of 5 bob or €7.2 million might be considered a compliment, most particularly should a payment of such size as the latter be conveyed from either party to the other in gratitude for time and skIll well spent in an effort that humans not perish from this earth..

In said contextio friskivvy twould appear to be fairly and properly in the spirit of these matters to say, "Well done that man!" (Or woman, as the case may be.)

Forsooth and therefore, let us beg the worthy solicitors forgiveness if there was ever confusio mori upon said matter and bid each other not adieu, but rather, "May we meet again!" if there were ever questions upon said matter.

Nay. We celebrate! Memento tw@tio!

DV is on substack. One of his four articles on 23 June says he’s in favour of the super rich paying more taxes.

You get the feeling he would be overwhelmed with Schadenfreude were it applied to his ex wife.

Oscar's avatar

One wonders at what threshold he would start "super rich". He's a few quid and I'm sure many of us would rejoice at him being taxed more.

David Turver's avatar

If Reform and/or the Tories get in and eliminate carbon taxes and stop the ROC scheme early, then Dale's generation business is finished.
